The following dogs are currently in need of foster homes. If you are already a foster for SGA, please email jacintha@savinggreatanimals.org if you are interested in fostering. If you are not yet an approved foster, please start by submitting a foster application.

This list is updated frequently. If you reach out to foster and a dog already has a foster secured, please stay tuned as new dogs join us every week.

Chewy – 1 year old Spaniel. He was severely neglected during his first year of life. He has spent the last month with a trainer/foster and has come a long way. He needs a yard and is fine with other dogs. He has had surgery to correct cherry eye.

Josie – 8 month old pit mix. Very sweet girl but afraid of men. No aggression, just cowering. A home with female only fosters will be best. She is good with other dogs her size but not with small dogs. Needs a yard. She is adorable and very loving. Foster needed asap.

Bluey – 3 month old small scruffy mixed breed. Very scared of people and needs slow socialization. An adult dog in the home will be best for him. Our trainer will work with the foster to help Bluey progress. Bluey can bark when he is feeling scared so a home with a yard is best. Needs foster by 5/4

Pebbles – Pit mix puppy found in a field. Submissive and good with other dogs. Needs foster by 5/4

Jelly Bean – 3.5 month old puppy. Parvo survivor. Needs foster by 5/4

Emma- 3.5 month old female pup. Parvo survivor. Needs foster by 5/4

Roxy – 11 month old mixed breed. Around 45 lbs. Roxy is a sweet girl but has some fear of new people. She has completed her board and train and has learned great new skills. She is best as the only dog in the home. No kids.
