The following dogs are currently in need of foster homes. If you are already a foster for SGA, please email jacintha@savinggreatanimals.org if you are interested in fostering. If you are not yet an approved foster, please start by submitting a foster application.
Cody – 2 year old, 18 lbs male mixed breed. Very friendly and social. Great with other dogs. Chases cats. Needs a home with a yard. He is a tri-pod. His back right leg was amputated but he gets around very well and loves to play.

Honey – 8 week old Pom/Chi puppy. Very friendly and active. An elderly lady bought her on Facebook and realized she is not the right home for a puppy this age.

Phoebe – 3 month old mixed breed pup. Around 7-8 lbs. Friendly and good with other dogs.

Shiloh – 3 month old mixed breed pup. Around 7-8 lbs. Friendly and good with other dogs.


Lorelei – small mixed breed female (Grey/Brindle). Age TBD. Possibly French Bulldog mix. Timid but warms up. She needs a more quiet foster home with access to a yard.

Fish Stick – 3 year old female Chi mix. Friendly and good with other dogs, kids and cats. Owner lost home. Arrives Dec 9.

Floppy – 2 year old male Terrier mix. Around 25 lbs. Friendly with all people, loves kids. Good with dogs. Has lived with cats but can playfully chase. Walks well on leash. Arrives Dec 9.

Guppy – 10 year old male Chihuahua. 3.8 lbs. Tiny little boy. Friendly with everyone. Best in a home without young kids due to his small size. Arrives Dec 9.

Tarot – 2 year old mixed breed female. 50 lbs. Friendly girl, good with dogs. Arriving Dec 10.

Miley – 5 year old female mixed breed. Around 18 lbs. Timid with new people and dogs but will warm up with a little patience. Best in a home with a yard. Not fully potty trained.

Roxy – Roxy is about 2 years old. She is a sweet girl but is worried about meeting new people and has some nervousness in unfamiliar settings. She can get along with other dogs but is hit and miss. Roxy needs a quiet foster home with a fenced yard and an experienced handler. She is not suitable for a home with children.

Joy – 12 year old mixed breed. Prefers to be the only dog in the home and does not do well with children. A calm home would be best for her. She is very affectionate and easy in the home, but needs a little time to trust new people.
